Here at Anderson Travel we have been operating coaches from our central London base at Tower Bridge since 1988.
All vehicles operated are maintained to the highest possible standards by our own maintenance staff and feature the latest in terms of technical innovation, with seat belts fitted to all seats, air suspension and full air conditioning as standard. All vehicles have at least a secondary braking system and a number are fitted with on board W.C., DVD, drinks making facilities and refrigerators. Our flag ship 'Finesse Service' offers the added comfort features of a full galley complete with microwave, dvd with six monitors and has tables fitted throughout the saloon.
Anderson Tours Ltd to cater for the increasing demand we had for bespoke tour organising. Today, Anderson Tours carries over 40,000 passengers annually on a range of scheduled excursions and short breaks plus tailor made tours for private groups. Based in Charlotte Street, in London’s west end our excellent product range now includes holidays by air and rail which complements our coach based tours.
In 2002 Anderson Travel became partners in Palmers Travel, a Kent based holiday company specialising in quality coach tours in the UK and Europe for the discerning traveller.
Anderson Travel Group expanded further with the purchase of a car and van rental business, now Anderson Self Drive Ltd, and the owner of the well known Dollar Thrifty franchise for south east London. Over 120 vehicles are operated offering a wide range for rent on either a daily weekly or monthly basis. Mini buses and people carriers are also offered on excellent terms.
In April 2005 new premises close to London Heathrow airport were acquired for the commencement of the group’s latest expansion in the shape of London Mini Coaches Ltd, offering the travelling public luxury 16 and 25 seat vehicles for hire plus a luxury car service. This latest development sees the purchase of 10 mini/midi coaches plus a number of people carriers aimed at the corporate, tourist and leisure market.
