In the world of sports, every detail matters – from the training sessions to the transportation. For the past two years, we’ve had the privilege of accompanying the Surrey County Cricket Club to every away game. And what a journey it’s been!
For those unfamiliar with the club, Surrey County Cricket Club is one of the 18 major county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. Based at the historic Oval ground in London, they compete in the County Championship, the top tier of English county cricket. And in the last two years, they’ve clinched the County Championship title not once, but twice!
Steve Howes, the Cricket Operations Manager for the team, shared his gratitude, saying, “Firstly, a note to say thank you for everything during the season. Two years with you, two County Championships! No coincidence 😊.” Such words are a testament to the synergy between our services and the club’s performance.
Featured in the accompanying picture is Alec Stewart, an English cricket legend. The younger son of former English Test cricketer Micky Stewart, Alec made his mark in the cricketing world when he debuted for Surrey in 1981. Since then Stewart has donned many hats – from being a right-handed wicket-keeper-batsman to captaining the England cricket team. With 133 Tests and 170 ODIs under his belt, he’s one of England’s most celebrated cricketers.
